Venta Mazarrón 2014 obtains the silver medal at the Mundus Vini International Awards

Venta Mazarrón 2014 has obtained a gold medal at the Mundus Vini International Awards, which took place in Germany. These awards are one of the most prestigious worldwide, and it is especially relevant in central European countries.

This recognition is one of the many endorsements the wine has received for its quality throughout its trajectory at home and abroad. Guía Peñin 2017 has awarded this wine 91 points, which is the same score that the American taster, Josh Reynolds (Vinous), gave it.

Venta Mazarrón is made 100% with the Tinta Madrid variety, which is the name given to the Tempranillo variety in Tierra del Vino de Zamora, from which this wine is. Venta Mazarrón was conceived with the intention of showing the elegance of the vineyards and grapes in the area that grow on vines of up to 40 years, but which in this region, where there are some of the oldest and most unique vineyards in Spain, are called young.

It is a balanced, structured and long wine with pleasant and mature tannins.
