Cenit again the best scored wine from Tierra del Vino de Zamora in the Guía Peñin 2017 guide

Cenit 2012 is again the best scored wine from the D.O. Tierra del Vino de Zamora in the Guía Peñin 2017 guide with 93 points. This wine, which is made from vineyards dating back up to between 120 and 150 years, maintains its status as the best valued wine from its Designation of Origin, a position it has deserved in in the past years according to the Guía Peñin.

Cenit is an intense and direct wine that is unctuous and warm on the palate, with a great volume, well balanced and a good acidity, all of which is highlighted by Guía Peñin. It is a wine conceived to live and evolve in the bottle for several years.

Vía Cenit has also been positively recognised by the guide. The 2014 vintage obtained 92 points. This wine stands out for its balsamic notes, which is grown in pre-phylioxera majuelos (small plots of lands) with different soil compositions and sun exposures, through which it perfectly expresses the character of the area.

On the other hand, Venta Mazarrón 2013 obtained 91 points, standing out for being a tasty, spicy and strong wine. Villano 2014 deserved 90 points and five stars, which is the maximum rating in terms of value for money. Villano is the youngest wine made in the bodega and it takes the liveliness, restlessness and energy from the young vineyards in the area which is combined with the astuteness of the older vineyards.
